Panicel is a clear and joyful stream who whispered to some remarkable people that he gets bored all by himself on the hills surrounding The Rasnov Citadel and that he wishes to murmur captivating stories to those who love life. The little river saw many things and he can tell stories about the heroic knights, the beauty of the ladies of the court, the greatness of the horses, the freshness of the grass and flowers, the dance of the clouds and of the snowflakes and also about some quarrelsome geese that have recently settled down on its banks.

And, as if from a fairy tale from our childhood, the one with Prince Charming as I recall, near the little river called Panicel, “ The Panicel Pension” arose.We gladly invite you to discover joy, history, tradition, kindness and delicious food all gathered under the same roof. Either you only want to relax for a few days, or you want to share with your friends or relatives a special event from your life, Panicel is the perfect choice. A spacious bright fully equipped event room which can fit 400 people is ready to welcome you and skillful cooks are already working around the steaming pots ready to charm you with our delicacies. All you need to do is to ask us to organize the happiest event of your life, whether we are talking about an anniversary, a get-together meeting,  a Christmas or New Year party. Due to the most modern equipment and to the newest furniture we can also host business meetings or trainings. The room has a modular structure, so it can be adjusted to satisfy any needs.

Resembling also the fairy tale characters, the hot-blooded horses that can be found here have their own stories to tell you, stories which you can hear if , on your way to Brasov or Pitesti, on DN 73, you turn right on the “ road with poplars” towards our gate. It is the kind of road that you can find at the countryside, accessible all the time, no matter if it snows or rains and it is very likely to have as witnesses of your arrival some curious cows chewing quietly the grass on the nearby field.

If you cannot hear from the very beginning the stories told by the horses or by the river, don’t worry! The breathtaking landscape offered by the Bucegi, Piatra Craiului and Postavarului Mountains is definitely going to inspire you. The sky, the clouds and the wind are the only limits of your imagination!

Our visitors enjoy relaxation. That’s why we invite you to choose one of the 31 comfortable rooms of our pension, one of the two multifunctional rooms where you can play as much as you like (darts, table tennis, backgammon, pool …) For those keen on fishing we have a good news: an artificial lake, with a lot of fish living in its water, is there for you all the time. After sitting quietly for a few minutes near the lake, a few minutes of horse riding are welcome. You can choose one of our horses or ponies, eager to offer you a ride either under the supervision of a certified instructor or by yourselves and because not everybody is able to ride a horse, the carriage and the sleigh are always ready for you. The only difficulty that you will encounter will be in choosing your destination: The Medieval Citadel from Rasnov or The Bran Castle?  (both of them being very close).
